Saigon (Ho Chi Min City)

Tet spirit (Spring festival, New Year). The streets of the city are vibrating and pulsating even after most of the migrant workers have left to celebrate with their homes/families.
The downtown, where everyone seems to come to drop for a visit and cheer, is colored with flowers and jolly athmosphere.

As a special guest that had honorably arrived on the first day of the year, I attend many dinners for 20, and get familiar with the Tet traditional stuff, including the red envelopes exchange and visit to honor the spirits of the dead on the second day of the New year.

Nice photos of the essence and beauty of a culture.
I like the color and interesting things you take note of with your photos.
