Around Yongding - Hakka tulou-s



Fujian province tulou houses were amongst the handful of most inspiring things I have ever experienced!

It's the unusual shape, the grandeur of the 3-4-story structure, the whisper of the distant past entangled and encircled with close family ties and some other mysterious mix that left me in awe.
It's obvious from the photographs my special connection with those places and buildings. As somebody already commented (part of) my heart is (still) there.
