Cuddled away about 1hr from Jishou in an immense karst scenery, this ethnic village has a tremendous cult-ic appeal. The waterfall on the 2km trail outside the village pretentiously labels itself to be the highest 'nationwide,' but since there is no even mention about it in my guide book and some friends rise doubts to it, let's leave the claim for what it is. Its 216m height and 80 m are quite impressive nonetheless, both when aweing it in front and behind the water "foile." That is its name, anyway - Flowing Voile Waterfall.
