Tibet - 3 Dege & around

'Who can say with certainty that he will live to see the morrow? [Tiy 65]'
(Life, LIFE, l i f e, life - from someones contact information..)

The Bakong Scripture Printing lamasery - Revered as 1 of the 3 most important lamaseries along with Sakya and Potala Palace – it makes up an estimated 70% of the Tibetan literary heritage with unique texts in Tibetan, Sanskrit & Hindu.
Hand-produced are over 2500 prints every day.

There are 3 other lamaseries in Dege, the one just behind the printing house is over 1000 yr old.

Chola pass - holy smokes - 5050m!! Little sister, mourning must be over, how is the family, you?? My first evening prayer ceremony attendance. Boys learning the scriptures at 'Little Potala' (be warned - there are so many places with such names for tourists drag) monastery. Yihun Lhatso (Lake) 13 kms from Maligango. - the night when I first realized how cold it was getting - and wet!! - when my butt froze, let's not mention the backpack, etc..
