Everglades - Shark Valley [FL 6-7]

Everglades Willma aftermath: 2/4 of the visitors centers were with no electricity, 3/4 were closed, as well as the majority of the park. The only one visitor center functioning, and surrounding areas (at Everglades city) are covered with stinking mud - I got there but somehow decided to skip it for other sights ..and well- scents.

-- Stop. Do NOT Enter, Area Closed, No parking 8-5.. , etc.

But hey, it's Everglades and I persist. After a gate crashing at Shark Valley when I had it on my own for ~3 hours, I also found nearly a beehive of rangers spread almost to my car on my way back. Some threatining, a lift to the car, right behind the "no parking 8am-5pm" sign (well I parked there before 7am!), and most notably some long, long ~10 minutes of wondering what I was going to get cited for: trespassing, or parking in restricted area, or both, on federal land!..., while the ranger was writing, writing, with my ID in hand. Striking it lucky again, just a warning not to do it again and a wish I took good photos.
I did vow to keep the goodness in mind and not do it again.
Turned back at the next closed area after I didn't manage to talk anyone into letting me in anyway. (and did I try!!)
