Everglades 2nd Attempt [FL - 12]

Wilma is still omnipresent, 3-4 weeks after it has actually been. In people's talks and recollection, in the piles of debris and rubble in the south, continuing repairing effort for connect the rest of the cut phone lines and the remaining as of 3.5-4 weeks after the last hurricane 30,000 houses without electricity in the Miami region.

I didn't manage to talk any of the rangers into letting me in (it's unsafe, blah-blah) at the main entrance and Anhinga trail, so I return on my last Florida day traveling extra over 800 mi for it.

Both the Anhinga & adjacent trails are very short to spend a whole day there, but some reading reveals a close-by turn off the main road into a dirt "insider's tip" (viva photo.net!) road which I happily explore for the rest of the day, away from the crowds.
